Who is this speaker, Robert Hoekman, Jr.?
by Patrick HavensBesides a long name, Robert also has one of the hardest jobs. He’s presenting Designing the Obvious, a topic that many bloggers will find difficult. Mind a lot of Designers turn to blogging as an outlet (as I have), but a lot of bloggers have no design background. Robert Hoekman is a designer who from the bios seems to be focused on usability. Which should make for an interesting lecture.
His bio from the WordCamp Site:
Robert Hoekman, Jr., is a professional Interaction Designer and Usability Specialist who has worked with Go Daddy Software, Macromedia, Adobe, United Airlines, Cisco Systems, and countless others to provide superior user experiences to a wide range of audiences. His newest book, Designing the Obvious, focuses on seven guiding principles of great Web-based software and how to leverage them in any real-world project.
I believe Robert will be having a pretty crowded and lively presentation.
