So I figured to start the day with Attendees 13-18

by Patrick Havens

Now you may be going to yourself, “wait he said that he was only going to do 5 Attendees at a time.” And that’s true, if I don’t burn myself out. And I am only going to touch on 5 Attendees this morning. I already talked about Attendee #17 Charles Stricklin last week.

Bill HumphriesAttendee #13 is someone you may not know anything about. I know that I don’t know them personally but after a little research I found Bill Humphries to be an Application Engineer from Apple, he has spent a lot of time improving WordPress with plugins including one that just tweaks a standard theme a little to work on an iphone.

Ray BaxterAttendee #14 is Ray Baxter. blogger of Yesterday’s Thoughts. The only bit I could find on him is that he uses Ruby on Rails a lot.

Attendee #15 Tim Bishop is the first person I’ve seen with a Movable Type blog. Writing a very Berkley focused blog about “Local Events, Places and People in the People’s Republic of Berkeley.” He defiantly has a sense of humor, and what looks to be a very trafficked blog. Though I think I found his writing on at least one other blog (geodog) I couldn’t find a picture of him that I could be sure about. Darn those common names.

Jared Kim - Image hosted on FacebookWell we’re already to Attendee #16 Jared Kim and I haven’t gotten too my coffee so here is Jared in a nutshell well I’ll let him say it himself:

Born and raised in the States till the end of middle school. I found myself in Shenzhen, China trying to learn Mandarin Chinese. Picked that up in a few years and ended up founding an online gaming company in China.

I am currently a freshman undergraduate at UC Berkeley, class of 2010.

I’d like to say over-acheiver… but he just looks to be very intelligent.

Michelle LederNow skipping #17 we’re at Attendee #18, Michelle Leder of Found in the Footnotes. Her blog Footnoted.org was named one of Time Magazine’s 50 Coolest for 2006. She has a job I wouldn’t envy, but one I won’t mind taking advantage of. She pores through the filings of companies and finds interesting tidbits. A very busy person, its nice that she’ll be able to join us for WordCamp.
