The WordCamp Report

The very last presentation/session is a Question and Answer called Developer Duke-out. They mentioned the names of the Automattic Developers that will be there. But some are ones that stay out of the limelight, so here are short overviews on them.

Michael Adams was in college for his a PhD in Quantum Information at Caltech when he was talked into going Automattic. Mike hacks on bbPress and the javascripty bits of WordPress from his home in Southern California.

Ryan Boren is a telecom industry veteran who decided to leave the server closet to create things that people would actually see and use directly. He’s seems the jack of all trades.

Andy Skelton is going to be entertaining us with his guitar directly after lunch Sunday, but normally he does a lot of PR and other unmentionable things.

I’ll edit with other developers if I find out they will be there.
