WordCamps Worldwide
by Patrick HavensLiving in the Bay Area as I do I’ve been lucky to go to WordCamp in San Francisco for a couple years now. Well it looks like the idea is taking off. Recently there was a WordCamp in Bejing, China and in Israel which did very well. And now there are talks, or scheduled dates for WordCamps in Melbourne, Australia; Hamburg, Germany; and now also Dallas, Texas*.

* Now for WordCamp Dallas. Charles Stricklin will post here once he has things locked down, but its currently scheduled for March 1st and 2nd, the week before SXSW. Charles has some great ideas and it sounds like it will be an awesome conference. Stay tuned for more information on this event.

A quick correction regarding WordCamp Israel - while we’re all sure (or at least hoping) that it’ll be a success, the event still hasn’t taken place… the big day over here is October 25th
