EduBlog

Been on the web for years and a blog since 2003 (recovering moveable type user – took 10 minutes)

He “was blogging back too 2000″  Every day when he was on Sabbatical he wrote daily posts.

one Flickr Gallery and one wiki

Stopped from a fast and furious overview on a number of blogs that he’s run across.  Everything for EduBlogs (A WordPress mu installation of teachers) and students using blogs to help them write better papers.

All over the World teachers are encouraging their students to use blogs also.

Some blogs use so many widgets its almost as bad as myspace, some are extremely well designed and put togetehr that he rips apart for ideas.

Most of the “woefully” underpaid (which are most) teachers mainly seem to do this in their free time.

Some teachers are doing Historical Blogging, it draws in their students and is entertaining also. (The Orwell Prize)

Comment Press – Allows you to attach comments to individual paragraphs

2008 Horizon Report

Conflicts between having students get active and using blogs, and worrying what might be posted and how much information they might post.

And time ended with Alan Still talking

NOTE: Way too many sites, not all listed here.
