We start the “Lightning Sessions” (20 min long instead of 30) with Lorelle VanFossen.

260 ways to BREAK WordPress.

Lorelle is a self-professed master at breaking WordPress.

A friend wanted to post 260 posts in 260 minutes.  First her posts (about 85% actually worked) flooded Twitter.  And that annoyed those subscribed.  Then she crashed the server handling the sitemap.

And if it does break… see what exactly is breaking, or breaking it.

Lorrelle noted that she used to break hers often by randomly installing plugins.  She noted be careful about that.

She noted about an older post she did in which she had an alter ego post for her.  And She wanted to try to schedule a future comment.  But it can’t be done.  But its part of all of our makeup that we want to push our blog.  And sometimes installing the wrong plugins can get you in trouble.
