Would You Like to Report on a WordCamp Event?
by Lorelle VanFossenWill you be attending a WordCamp event in your area? Or traveling across the country or the world to attend a WordCamp? Want to live blog about the event or report on it?
The WordCamp Report is looking for eyes, ears, and fast fingers to help provide information to the world on the events at all the various WordCamps. We are looking for volunteers to live blog or report on WordCamps around the world.
You can use the comments here, our Contact form, or email Lorelle if you are interested in helping add your voice to our WordCamp blog.
We request that you be a blogger and let us know where you blog, which WordCamp event you would like to cover, and how you would like to cover it. You do not have to have live blogging experience, but it helps. We’ll contact you with login information and guidelines. We’re ready for images, audio and video, or just a lot of words sharing your experience and news from the event.
A lot of WordCamp attendees want to share their WordCamp experiences, but their blogs don’t cover such topics. This is a chance to reach a wider audience and share those lessons learned, friends met, and life changing experiences.
If you are the host or coordinator of a WordCamp event, we would love to talk to you, too, about promoting the event. If you have news or information you would like shared, let us know. If you have someone you would like to cover the event on this blog, we’re open for that, too.
The WordCamp Report has been reporting on these WordPress special events since the first WordCamps started. Now that they are expanding all over the world, we’d love to have your help to share our love for WordCamp with others.

Hey Lorelle. I’ve somewhat been in touch with Watershed Studios, the folks who most likely will be behind WordCamp Indiana. If the event does occur, I most likely will be attending the event and would be willing to liveblog it or put it on streaming video for the site.
